Biography
I am here to join you in a highly
interactive fashion and help you to find a new way in your life or
relationship. My life's work and passion is supporting others to
live more fully and deeply.
In addition to many years of formal
training, my own experience as an individual, husband and father
deeply support me in helping others have more satisfying relationships
and families.
Some twenty years of consciously
working on my own personal growth have given me a profound respect
for the struggles we all face as humans. After years of intensive
meditation, yoga practice and working towards being ordained as a
Buddhist monk, I realized the importance of intimacy, love and psychological
healing. I found psychotherapy to have the power to help us find
true intimacy with both others and ourselves. For those that are
interested in the terminology, I use a psychodynamic, neo-Kleinian
framework that incorporates mindfulness based, cognitive-behavioral
techniques. I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy,
Hakomi and Process Work.
